Long Reach Boom | Super Long Front Operation Instruction

 

Installation instructions

1. All the bosses and pin holes should be greased before installation.
2. Installation sequence：first, mount the boom to the excavator bracket, install two boom clinders link to the boom, next fix the arm to the boom, and then install arm cylinder,bucket cylinder and hoses. Finally, fit on the bucket, H link and Idler link. 

 

Long Reach Boom Application

• Long reach boom, adopted high strength steel plates such as Q355B,Q690D, which including standard type and reinforced type, standard type suitable for light working condition such as river cleaning, slope maintenance and so on. Reinforced type could be used on heavy duty working condition such as tough earth digging, gravel loading, etc. For medium excavator or below, usually long reach boom / super long front built with Q355B steel is good enough.For excavator 45ton or above  tonnage with super long length long reach boom / super long front, usually we will suggest to built with Q690D+Q355B steel.

Maintenance

• Grease the pins of boom and arm once after every four-hour continue working. 
• Fill lubrication oil before working everyday. Tighten it once find oil tube dripping. 
• Check those important parts regularly to see if anything abnormal, including if there is a crack on the plate next to boom cylinder head, if there is a crack on the bracket of arm cylinder end, if there is a crack on the bracket of arm cylinder head(end of arm).  Withdraw the long reach boom like illustration showing when not working.

 

Cautions

• Bucket capacity should be within the scope stipulated by our company, heavy duty working condition such as digging rocks from mines, rivers, deep seas are strictly prohibited. Please obey the Relevant Regulations of Excavator Operation.
